Welcome To Oaklands Farm Holiday Cottages

In the area of Leintwardine, Shropshire, Oaklands Farm is surrounded by beautiful scenery and astonishing views and a perfect vacation for those seeking a peaceful escape. Views of the Welsh Hills, Oaklands Meadow and the River Teme, Oaklands Farm is sistuated in one of the most beautiful places in Shropshire.The two holiday cottages are two traditionally built buildings restored by local crafsmen now furnished to provide a beautiful stay in the glorious countryside of Shropshire where guests share a private garden of the ajoining fields and woodland.
The Barn
Sleeps 6 (+1)
A large living room with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, and wood burning stove, well equiped kitchen and 3 bedrooms, two double and one single with twin bunk beds, shower room upstairs, en-suite with shower over bath downstairs. Sofa bed in living room, the Cottage is suitable for the partially disabled.




The Granary
Sleeps 4

Integral living and kitchen area with exposed beams, two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a bathroom equiped wth a bath.












Both may be combined to provide
accomodation for larger groups.

All fuel included, storage heaters, electriccooker, fridge, microwave, TV. Ample parking, cot and high chair, pets by arrangement. Bed linen provided. Shared grass and green area & patio with picnic benches, and a lovely welcome bottle of wine on arrival.

Cycle Hire

Cycle hire availabke for all the family at Oaklands Farm's special rate, stabling is also available - price on request with also a bridle path running next to Oaklands Farm.

Places To See

Historic towns such as Ludlow (only a 15 minute drive away) where there are monuments such as the historic Castle and beautiful Church and also other shops, pubs and cafe's to visit. Also the Welsh Marsh which accompanies historic sites and castles. Clun Valley is also just a 15 minute drive away where lies many pub restaurants, shops and another Castle.

Knighton and "Offas Dyke", 6 miles

"Long Mynd" nr Church Stretton, 14 miles

Hereford and Shrewsbur appox. 22 miles.

The Village of Leinwardine

A short walk (15 minutes approx.) where a local bus service runs (available from Post Office), also a Garage, Butchers, Church, Fish & Chip Shop Pub (The Lion Hotel) and Post Office. A petit village but equipped with essential shops and beautful walks along the River bank is also equipped with beautiful views and walks for a day out.

We will have a telephone reservation for 7 days, a 20% deposit is payable on booking and the balance is due 1 month before arrival. Deposit non-refundable.

Cottages are let from 3pm on the day of arrival until 10am on day of departure.
A £100 cash security deposit is required upon arrival.
